About Us
Mike & Jo Theunissen have teamed up to form HOWLING HAMMER BUILDERS, INC. a custom-design building & remodeling firm.
Primarily serving the central Michigan area, each home we build or remodel is unique and designed specifically for our client. Our goal is to design and build (or remodel) homes that meet our customers’ needs & desires while maintaining quality standards at reasonable costs, always with a focus on superior design. We also strive to make the building or remodeling process an exciting and enjoyable experience that results in a home “built for a lifetime”.
We are Certified Green Building Professionals, Certified Graduate Remodelers & Certified Aging in Place Specialists who have specialized training in “Aging in Place” and Universal Design allowing us to offer unique solutions for our clients’ specific needs & wants.
